I am moved by nature. I am constantly stunned by it’s beauty and intricacies. I love nature. The aromatic flowers, leaves of many colors and shapes, water of all kinds, shapes and sizes, animals and insects and everything else about it. I am especially moved by clouds and the sky. To me, the sky is like God’s canvas and every day and every moment, when you look up, it’s a different picture. Clouds change shapes and sizes, the color in the morning and evening add to those clouds and it all brings me such joy.
I love nature, but I can’t fully explain why it moves me so much, but maybe I will by the time this post is finished. If I had to guess, it’s because it is pure and unencumbered. Other than storms, there is no drama about it. In most cases, I am guarded to some degree. Most people have no idea because it’s so much a part of who I am. It’s the way I live day-to-day. I rarely fully feel a moment. I can’t even name emotions, which I have mentioned before. However, with nature, I fully feel.
There is a freedom that I never feel anywhere else or in any other circumstance. When I am moved by what I see, I simply feel it. I’m moved and I feel with no thought involved. Freedom. That is the word. Other than my faith and the love I have for Jesus, when I am moved by His love, nature brings me freedom and emotion. I think the two go together. When I enjoy nature, it is a form of worshipping God. Psalm 19:1 even says ‘the heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of His hands’. I guess that would explain why I am so mesmerized with the sky.
Here are a few of the many pictures I have taken of nature where I was moved so much a picture had to be made. I hope you enjoy them as well:

Nature shouts the praises of our marvelous GOD! One can’t help but be moved by it when you realize that HE created it just for us…to enjoy…to be awed by…to allow it to bring us peace. I see GOD, hear GOD, feel GOD in everything that is around me…and it comforts me 🙂 Have a blessed day. <3
Great pictures!
Amen!!!
Fantastic pictures almost like an ace phtographer. I think you should spend some more time in castching more such moments of sheer pure joy.

Hello Joanna Lynn,
Really enjoyed the post. I, too, am constantly stunned by nature’s beauty. I love uncrowded places among G-d’s creation; I find it soothing, peaceful. I hear people rave about cities, and the buzz and vibration. And if I try, I can see the human-built, towering structures in some way beautiful. But G-d made the world as a living, breathing place for us to, as you say, see His Majesty, His Glory.
I love the ocean the most. I love its wildness; it is often calm but still untamed. It demands respect. Its depths are home to some of G-d’s most might creatures, and its skies team with so many wonderful birds. To echo what Isak Dinesen wrote: “The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.”
Lord Bless, Keep, Shine. . .
Beautifully said. The ocean is my favorite place as well (fortunately I am going to see a friend in Florida and spend time on the beach in less than a week). The ocean is what I call my representation for God on earth. It is bigger than we will ever get to see on earth and it’s depths have so
Many wonders we’ll never be able to fully appreciate while we’re here. This doesn’t even cover the beauty and sounds that speak to my soul. Glad you liked the post.
