Start a Chain Reaction

Start a Chain Reaction

Breaking the chains of negative behavior from others is crucial to living a life of authenticity and freedom.  I often wonder how people can treat others as if they are inferior. When they see others excelling and doing something well, they cut them down. It is a form of abuse and it usually does not stop with one instance.

Start a Chain ReactionIn researching why people do this, I have found that one of the main reasons is insecurity on the part of the person tearing others down. This is hard to believe since the abuser is often in a place of controlling and strength. To see them as insecure is difficult to process, but it is essential in breaking the chains the abuser has affixed to you.

It can also become a chain reaction. As a person is built up and shown encouragement, the course of their life is changed. They are given a glimpse of their purpose and strength and gain more confidence and hope for the future. They, then, begin to pour into and encourage others with whom they come in contact.

Encouraging and uplifting others is imperative. Encouragement can be a catalyst for widespread change. Start a chain reaction today. Speak into the life of at least one person. Let them see a glimpse of the person you see in them and build them up. You can make a choice to possibly change the course of someone’s life.

Every interaction you have allows you the chance to speak into another’s life either positively or negatively. Make a choice to make your voice count for good in another’s life.
